This is the last album of hers that sounded true to form. It had everything you'd expect from a Janet Jackson album - eclecticism, introspective lyrics, big pop dance numbers, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. Even her vocals were full and bright on this album. No whispering and mumbling. Something changed after this. We never got the same Janet again.
