When You Gonna Learn? (3:48)

From Emergency On Planet Earth and 10 other releases

One of the first tracks to be written and recorded by Jamiroquai, “When You Gonna Learn?” brought the sounds of acid jazz to their listeners during the early 90’s. Though released in 1993 with the accompanying album Emergency on Planet Earth, Jamiroquai’s frontman, Jay Kay, wrote the song a year earlier. His experimentation with a drum machine he received eventually formed the resulting track, and with an environmentally friendly approach, it became a must play for any of Jamiroquai’s live performances. “When You Gonna Learn?” combines eco-friendly lyrics with a strong message for its listeners; the song bluntly asks for a permanent change to the world’s health.

Yeah yeah, have you heard the news today?
People right across the world are pledging they will play the game
Victims of a modern world, circumstance has brought us here
Armageddon's come too near, too too near, yeah
