Biography
Jamie George looks set to follow in the footsteps of his fellow Rinse Recording artists in continuing to push the boundaries from within the underground of the U.K music scene.
Jamie (George) is perhaps more recognisable as the voice and writer behind:
Roska’s
• Love 2nite
• Wonderful Day
• Do you Like this
DJ Zinc’s
• Love to Feel this Way
Toddla T’s
• Cruise Control
Jamie has worked hard to develop and grow as an artist and as a top line song writer, often just seen as “Roska’s MC/Host”, Jamie is being tipped by many as
“one to look out for” with his forthcoming solo Album (Rinse) dropping shortly.
Jamie (George) oozes fun, confidence and experience in all he does, whether it be performing in a dark underground rave alongside Roska or alone on stage at a concert/festival, Radio or TV, no matter the size or scale, Jamie always gives a 100% and his interactive approach is very well recieved.
Jamie’s musical style has a unique twist which is catchy and playful, and his down to earth personality always come across in his relatable lyrics.
Jamie describes himself as more of a melodic storyteller than a singer or MC.
Previous releases had been included on labels:
Parlophone, Middlerow, Social Circles and Roska’s Kicks and Snares.
Discography to Date:
• Jamie George - Scared of A Day job (2008).
• Roska & Jamie George - Wonderful Day (2009).
• Roska & Jamie George - Love 2nite (2009).
