    The third member of the New Orleans piano Trinity: Booker, 'Fess and Dr.John. A painfully unhappy man, he use to play ENDLESS drunken sets @ Dookie Chases'. He might barely be able to walk to the piano, but he'd play the fuck out of it when he got there.

    Hmmh. I don't think I'm with Skydog on this. Rhythmically I don't think Booker comes close to Fess' who seems to have much more going on. Still, I'll go off an re-listen to the great Longhair.
