Largely guitar and loop-driven, Bonham plays all instruments on record and collaborates on stage.
With layers of guitar, crisp beats and improvised electronics, a rare live show can seem considerably more experimental, where on record it’s a more structured, restrained (perhaps more commercial) sound. With no vocals to cling onto, there are hints of post-rock, modern jazz and experimental electronics running through the tunes. You can hear this on 2007’s This Time EP and download it for free. A new record is now in the works.
