Jak LockeBiography
Jak Locke is a songwriter and performer based in and native to New Orleans, LA. Aside from music, he is an aspiring author, filmmaker, and indie game developer.
Jak Locke’s main live project is The Jak Locke Rock Show with a three piece rock band backing him up, which has been described as “the most entertaining and energetic set from a live band I’ve ever seen” (Euphony Zine), “an unapologetically original performance” (gulfcoastbands.com) and “more eclectic than switching radio stations constantly” (Wizerk.com).
He has self-recorded nearly twenty albums worth of material since 1999, and over 9 hours of free streaming audio is available from http://www.jaklocke.com/wax.htm with more being added every couple of months.
