Small notes about the tracks that you can find here:
The tracks in these two albums (New Land Dub & Acid Revolution In Dub) were recorded live during some concerts between 1996 and 2002.
Jah Acid Dub was using at the time a MC303 or a MC505. For each title was programmed 2 at 4 patterns max and JAD played with the echo, reverb, distortion, and mute chanels.

The history of Jah Acid Dub:

From Paris origine country Jah Acid Dub has a past rocked by the Jazz (Be Bop), Acid Jazz, Indian music (Raga) and Reggae. To the search for new rhythms and textures, it plunges in the hypnotic galaxy of Dub becoming unconditional of Lee Scratch Perry (The Upsetter at the ‘Black Ark Studio’ period).

His influences pass by geants of Roots such as Lee Perry, King Tubby’s, Scientist, Augustus Pablo, Glen Brown, Israel Vibration and the new ones like The Orb, Stress Assassin, Tikiman, Rhythm & Sounds, Pole, Caspar Pound & Jammin’Unit, Backroom Beats (Twisted Records), Liquid Dub (Liquid Sound Design), OTT, Vibrasphere etc…

The name of Jah Acid Dub comes from three concepts.
- Jah for saying that the rhythmic base of his tracks are based on Reggae.
- Acid because he uses the Silverbox (the famous TB303 from Roland) and for a small wink to Acid Jazz.
- Dub because he makes Dub Music!
