Version 115

| AIKO | ~ | AIMI | ~ | IT’S ALL GOOD, BABY |

Jae Moon is a young electronic artist and producer from Australia who has been producing music for 7 years. His first album, It’s All Good, Baby (2009), is a compilation of mellow beats inspired by his work with rap artist Stories for Nothing. As a former member of Stories for Nothing Jae has developed a strong reputation among his peers as a hip-hop producer. However, his second album, Aimi (2010), reveals a more ambient and oriental sound that has now become part of Jae’s musical trademark.
Almost a year later, Jae released his E.P. Aiko on Facebook which was intended to be a grittier take on Aimi. A third album will be released on May 21st through his Facebook page.
Jae’s musical inspiration comes largely from 90’s electronic artists such as Massive Attack, Björk and DJ Krush as well as a multitude of underground hip hop.
