    That guitar MUST have been altered from the original recording. No guitar work sounded like that even 10 years later.

    Interesting story behind the song, only 300 copies were originally released in 1969, and issued to some nun sects! That growling guitar really adds to the creepy atmosphere of this song, I've gotta listen to it at 3am to get the full effect.
