Dutch singer/songwriter Jaap Fischer is now known under his stage name Joop Visser (since 1976). As a student in Leiden he wrote songs which captured the mood in students minds in the early 60s.

    I don't think his lyrics are as much playfull and melancholic as they are very intense and daring, mocking all holy things and questioning the things so normal to us. There's a very thick, provocative layer on top.
