Biography

France (1995 – present)

Jaïa is the trance and ambient project of the producer Yannis Kamarinos from France. After learning musical theory for 2 years, he played piano and keyboards in some rock bands and produced his first trance tracks in 1992. In 1995 he formed Jaia with Jean-Michel Blanchet and they released their first tracks on Fairway Records.

    That breakdown on Out of Orbit (Vibrasphere remix) is fucking amazing. I usually turn down the sound, then when 3:23 comes -> boom! I give it everything i got. This is by far the best stuff i've hear in a while.

    I'm very disapointed with Silicon Sound's remix of Mai Mai... This is a very special track and he took all the magic out of it and turned it into a boring, progressive monotonous bore. I had high expectations so maybe that's why I feel this way about it. Thank God Vibrasphere came through with the goods! Much respect to Jaïa!
