    I think it's very intentional and quite brilliant actually. Who else is doing anything like JJ Brine? In any case, this is a lot more disturbing than the video you posted and while the element of satirical self-parody is there, if you watch all the way to the end it's downright chilling: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9HY0LWR0_iE But ultimately you should remember that you don't have to like the artist's personality to enjoy their music.
