13 Mar 2007, 00:10 by womblerOk then, this should be fairly simple, doing a kind of “best thing I’ve heard all week” spot, where I can witter on about whatever has caught my attention for the first time in the previous few days and select a favourite. Only problem is that this being the first time I’ve done it, stuff that I actually heard weeks ago will probably make the list. So this one will be a “best thing I’ve heard in the recent past” and then, hopefully, I’ll start doing it on a more regular basis.
Tempting though it is then, Los Campesinos! miss out, purely because it’s now probably absolutely ages since I first heard them – though I do highly recommend both We Throw Parties, You Throw Knives and the fairly epic You! Me! Dancing!
So on to the stuff that I’m actually picking from. Firstly Any Way You Choose to Give it which is a great indie / electro mix-up reminiscent of Hot Chip. However I have to discount them because they’re clearly far too cool for me and playing lots of gigs in places like Hoxton and at Vice magazine parties. …

A feel good song I can't stop listening to.
2. What a Day
An industrial mantra I'm repeating all the time when being annoyed and frustrated.
3. Fistful of Love
Listening to sad love songs makes my day.
4. Automatic Imperfection
A perfect song!
5. The Same Deep Water as Me
The river of love flows deep through the night,
rolls you in with the waves, drags you out with the tides.
My current favorite song from my favorite band.
7. Rubber & Soul
Another sad, sad song.
The soundtrack of my dreams.
