In the city of Malmö in the south of Sweden in the summer of 2007, the five members of CRAWL BACK IN gathered in a tiny stuffy practice room for the first time. Intent on making a beautiful distorted racket, practices began in earnest. Ideas flowed and songs were written and as time as marched on, said ideas flourished and CRAWL BACK IN realised the true sound that they were meant to create.

They play down tempo music influenced by many bands focusing on more minimalistic approaches (post metal, sludge metal, drone doom bands). The band named themselves after one of the cheat codes for one of the most played computer games of all time, StarCraft.
Tephra was a band from Braunschweig, Germany that founded in the end of 2003. Before they formed Tephra, all the members played in various musically quite diverse local bands. This influences the band in many different ways. Tephra has developed a unique atmospheric sludge metal sound stemming from many different sources of inspiration.
There are multiple artists with this name: 1) Swedish Post-Metal and Sludge quartet from Vetlanda. Their self-produced EP End of the Chayot released in 2011 is available for free on their bandcamp. 2) Swedish Death Metal ensemble that started playing together in the fall of 2008 and had the first gig the following spring.
