Biography

Ithaca Trio (aka. The Colossal Ithaca Trio & The Deus Ex Machina Arkestra) is a collective based in Leeds, UK. Founded in early 2009, Ithaca create organic-electronic, ambient-drone music using a variety of abstracted acoustic instruments and manipulations.

At the end of August, Ithaca Trio released a split CDr with Machinefabriek. ‘Par Avion’ sold out in just 5 days.

2009 saw Ithaca’s birth, the recording of a number of free digital download releases, as well as the ‘Tesla Verses The Night’ mini-album, available on Under The Spire Recordings in early 2010 along with a number of self-released works via their shop.
