  • Outstanding!
  • "Time is" is the greatest song in the album.
  • Those continuing the Deep Purple/IABD Bombay Calling debate may be interested in the following link: http://www.bluoz.com/blog/archives/990-Vince-Wallace-at-the-Blue-Sky-Cafe-June-27-2010 YMMV :-p
  • (Don't get me wrong: I like 'Bombay Calling' as well...)
  • According to Purple's Gillian: "Jon Lord was dicking around (or 'extemporising on a theme' as it's known in the trade) with a tune from the new album by 'It's a Beautiful Day', it was 'Bombay Calling'. • the girl in this band looks like sonja kristina.
  • Here's some trivia for you: Don & Dewey was a tribute to Don Sugarcane Harris (who did the Hot Rats album for Zappa among a great number of other things, and his partner Dewey Harris. The violin on It's A Beautiful Day on this track could never be as good as Sugarcane's but it was pretty damn good, great number surprised to see so few listen to this track.
  • Deep Purple basically stole all of their best stuff and have acknowledged that. IABD stole back the tune and structure of Wring That Neck for Don and Dewey though.
  • still sounds really, really good w/eyes closed !!
