I wouldn't be surprised if Tyler went solo after this. His melodicism is getting better and better and (I'm sorry) the screaming kind of holds him back. I'm not saying that the screaming is a *detriment* to him, because I love Issues as a whole, but what I'm saying is... look at Dallas Green's career. Now consider Tyler's appeal. He could easily surpass what Dallas Green is doing under City and Colour. With the right push, he could be Justin Bieber/Sam Smith status. Just listen to a song like "Home Soon" and imagine it strained of all the hard stuff. I'll give him 2 more albums max with Issues.

Agree Moog, it is totally groove oriented. It's not *exactly* Chon level of technicality but you can tell they're kind of listening to that techy kind of stuff that flooded the scene a couple years ago (and I'm not knocking it! The Contortionist is one of my favorite bands). I think some of the songs from the previous album you named are stunners though, especially Never Lose Your Flames.

I like it. Even on first listen, I'm not at all disappointed. I can see me loving it on subsequent listens. And lol @ dude who deletes songs off albums. what year is this? Hard drive space is cheap
