There are at least 3 music acts under the name of Iskon, all of them from Serbia

1. Black Metal band from Novi Sad, Serbia:
as a result of deep, long-term dedication and ideological establishment, the force which took shape in word, Iskon was born. Concept was created in 2004.
Iskon can be described as a dark, individualistic vision of genuine black art. Originator of this one-man project is Valarh. Iskon expresses black metal imbued with strong atmosphere, deeply rooted into the realm of the underground. The immortal past, the eternal laws of nature and the own philosophy stand as a spiritual basis.

“…Dok gnev proslosti navire”, CD, Blackness Production, 2007.
“Tisina usnulih vekova”, CD, Blackness Production, 2008.
‘’Gde Krug Večni Svoj Beskraj Nudi’‘, CD, Blackness Production, 2010.

2. Black/Trash from Smederevo, Serbia. Discography: “Breaking The Walls of Silence” (2002, recorded as Dark Dreams), Rob Tmine (2006) and a Promo EP (2007)

3. A folk ensemble. ISKON means the beginning, time immemorial. Their music is of the land between the East and the West, it’s music in which Europe and Asia meet.
ISKON revives the forgotten songs of Serbia , Macedonia and Bulgaria . The musicians preserve their original form, but also give them the seal of the new, embellishing and enriching them. Respecting both the past and present, they are mediators between these two times.
The folk song of Balkan people is a compound of things that determine a nation, their language and their music. While there are folk songs, there will be national memory. Without songs memory transfers into oblivion, sound into silence and nations disappear.
