ISIS KENNEY was born in Poughkeepsie, New York and is an African-American artist, media personality and performance artist who came to New York City in 2004. Kenney attended the School Of Visual Arts and The City College Of New York. While at City College, Isis expanded her levels of art and started acting. Isis joined the Harlem Repertory Theater and was cast in several productions that empowered her to believe. Known as “Queen Isis Kenney” and “The Queen of Hip Hop Fine Art,” she has worked in several media outlets, including graphic design, radio, acting, web design, and the fine arts.
In 2011 Isis established Hip Hop Fine Art™, bridging a culture and a media rarely combined. Hip Hop Fine Art™ consist of collage on canvas, based on history and stories of before and after of Hip Hop artists, as well as stories of great triumphs, successes and contributions made to the Hip-Hop community. Not only has Isis Kenney created The Hip Hop Fine Art Collection, Isis has conducted Outreach within the New York City community through several non-profits and Media Outlets. She recently has started Madame Queen Marketing and Promotions (MQ.MP) connecting artist with artist, utilizing her outreach skills and her graphic design to help assist others in promotion and being noticed.
