Biography
1) Io was a emotive hardcore punk band from Pittsburgh, Pa, who released a full length and 7” on Hope Records/Hard Travelin and existed from 2001 to 2003 but played a reunion show in 2005.
2) IO is a mostly instrumental, post-metal, math rock quartet from Birmingham, UK. Website.

I updated the bio with yet another artist by the name of Io. It's an instrumental progmetal / djent / fusion artist with a 6 song EP out on bandcamp. I can't even find out who it is, but I assume it's a single guitarist. Anyway, it's amazing music, and it's currently available for free download on bandcamp - http://iomusic3.bandcamp.com/

UK Io is fantastic. Like a mix of Isis and math rock, really brilliant. Saw them live last year and they didn't disappoint.

13) io is an austrian busker, i lol'd, but seriosuly, materioptikon is quite possibly my favorite album of that style where you cant quite tell whether is post-rock or post-metal, amazing work
