Entering a state of inner bliss can be achieved in several ways: smoking a joint, engaging in the affairs of love or finding out you broke the record for the fastest pogo stick up the CN Tower.
My case beats all. The Chaos in Motion show, featuring Dream Theater with supporting bands Into Eternity and Redemption was the epitome of greatness. Clichéd I may sound, but the concert is extremely difficult to put into a justifiable review; it was such an amazing event.
I was lucky enough to be near the front, albeit a little too close to the left. Nevertheless, it was an astounding view. Into Eternity opened the stage, playing for 38 minutes (specific, no?). Included was Splintered Visions, Severe Emotional Distress, Nothing, Elysium Dream (I think) and a few more. My absolute favourite song by Into Eternity – Spiraling Into Depression – was also played, to my delight. …
