There are at least 7 different groups named Inferi. Prominently, we find two on last fm. One is a one-man black metal project from Finland, the other, an American melodic death metal band.
1) Inferi is a one man Black Metal band from Laitila in Finland. Formed in 2002 Inferi are signed to Northern Heritage Records. In the year 2006, Inferi released their debut full-length album entitled “Shores Of Sorrow”. Inferi’s main lyrical concepts include desolation, depression and misanthropy.
2) Inferi was a 4-piece from Nashville, Tenessee USA. Members from the group active in 2003, Death Looks Promising, formed Inferi in 2005. They have two self-released albums: Divinity In War (2007) and The End Of An Era (2009). They were Influenced by the likes of Vehemence, Death, Behemoth, Bloodbath, Darkane, and Hate Eternal.
3) Dutch Black Metal band from Schiedam, formed in 1992. Changed name to Domini Inferi.
