Galileo's head was on the block
The crime was looking up for truth
And as the bombshells of my daily fears explode
I try to trace them to my youth

Is there any chance that Ani D is on stage with the Girls during this song? I've just always had that impression, but never confirmation.

I loved this song before I even knew who the Indigo Girls were. Hearing it here is good, but to go to a concert and sing it with them always makes me wonder when my soul will get it right and how high I can fly if I only let myself.

I LOVE this song but I can't hear it without starting to cry like a corny little kid. It really gets me.

Mascaramascara, actually g33kboi is right. This is the live version that appears on 1200 Curfews. The studio version is the one that is on Rites of Passage. The dead giveaway is the dialog about Galieleo and the cow before the song begins. That is only found on the version from 1200 Curfews.
