I can only imagine how much better this album would be with the little Pete Rock interlude beats in between the tracks. Regardless, it's still such a great album, probably my personal favorite Pete Rock has produced. So easy to chill out and relax too, the emcees were very pleasant to listen as well. Let's no forget that PR's brother Grap Luva produced some nice joints on here too like "Step Up" and "Microphone Wunderlust". Really the whole feeling of this album makes me picture a somewhat gloomy nineties day in N.Y., much like the music video for "Fakin' Jax" is.
