The current members are:

Todd Sullivan - guitar
Daniel Juarez - drums
Ryan Randall - vocals
Rj Meza - bass
Peter Reyes - guitar

As of December 12, 2009, In:Aviate has announced indefinite hiatus via myspace.com/inaviate. Todd is now married, and expecting a baby; the remaining members have formed the band Motions and Miles.

Emo is just short for Emocore/Emotive Hardcore. Saying Emocore is a mixture between emo and hardcore is redundant since emo spawned during the revolution summer in DC during '85 from hardcore bands. Dag Nasty became emo, former Teen Idles/Minor Threat (future member of Fugazi) Ian Mackaye formed Embrace, Rites of Spring, Grey Matter, and Moss Icon formed around this time too. Mineral, SDRE, Promise Ring, TGUK are emo, just a more indie-ish kind of emo that came about in the 90's. It IS the same thing.

@phoenixsinger93 emo stands for emotion, bands such as mineral, sunny day, promise ring, even get up kids. emocore its a mix between hardcore and emo (some screams and hardcore riffs). its not the same thing.

Emocore isn't a made up genre. It's just a genre In:aviate don't comply with. Emo=Emocore=Emotive Hardcore. It's the same thing.

@Robface -- They didn't break up. They left In:Aviate in an indefinite hiatus. Meaning they "could" bring it back if they wanted to. For now, they made a new band (all but 1 member.)

these guys are becoming one of my TOP bands in this genre, easily. no hands down. so damn good. shame they never hit the nail hard enough to sink it in... they borrow elements from other great bands, but toss in their own very emotional mathy style that just hooks you. DAMN
