"River Deep - Mountain High" is a 1966 single by Ike & Tina Turner. Considered by producer Phil Spector to be his best work, "River Deep - Mountain High" was commercially unsuccessful upon its original release in the United States, but was a huge hit in Europe, peaking at #3 in the United Kingdom. It was re-released in 1969, and has since become one of Tina Turner's signature songs.

  • Ike the Janitor. What a story.
  • Es una de las canciones que más me gustan de Tina Turner
  • I love this song but this version sucks!
  • Powerfull song :)
  • el mop le daba por la madre y la jacha, pufff
  • History, a haunting history. The power and the struggle reappear. What's to lose?
  • This version is not quite as powerful as the truly great original hit ...... but it will do. Spector produced a great arrangement. Always slightly suspicious of Tina's voice. But the overall package is good.
  • Transcendental sensual-artistic experience. Just great. Great, great shit.
  • emoting is not singing
  • I dont know if I like this or Deep Purples version better>
