Sodertalje, Sweden (1994 – 1998)
Idha Ovelius is a singer-songwriter from Sodertalje, Sweden, who recorded in the mid-90’s on Creation Records.
She released two albums - 1994’s Melody Inn and 1997’s Troublemaker. Her biggest single was 1997’s Sorry Sorry. She was married to Andy Bell, the bassist of British band Oasis and formerly Ride and Hurricane #1. Since 1998, she has retired from music and currently raising her family.
In 2004, she provided vocals for Japanese guitarist Ryo Matsui (the brilliant green) for his solo project Meister. She sings on two songs;
whidbey, and
morning sun.
