Biography

While Ideal Zero is relatively new to the scene, their dedication and passion for music is immediately evident. They each showcase their individuality in their playing style, and while all members of the group come from very different musical backgrounds, their bold personalities merge together to form a unique and unforgettable sound. With influences of classical, metal, jazz, dance, and classic rock n’ roll, the listener is taken on a journey of auditory sensations and emotions from start to finish of every song.

The positive messages of the group are apparent in their empowering and compelling lyrics, which express the importance of individuality and freedom of self-expression. Lyricist and lead singer Irina, born in Romania during its time of communist rule, writes daring songs accompanied by infectious melodies. The members of Ideal Zero all strive to express their independence and self-reliance, and in doing so, inspire and invigorate their listeners.

Ideal Zero exudes an overwhelming energy on stage, commanding their listeners to become a part of the power and intensity of their songs. With heart-pumping drums and bass, a mix of heavy guitars and hypnotic keyboards, and a singer that has both an enchanting yet tremendously strong voice, their presence is felt by everyone in the room. And though their lyrics are thought-provoking and even at times controversial, every song is relatable in that they all examine everyday aspects and situations that we’ve all faced. The listener connects with every song in their own distinctive way and is driven down their own road of self-discovery.
