Something Wicked This Way Comes is American heavy metal band Iced Earth's fifth album, released on July 7, 1998, by Century Media Records. It is the band's first album featuring lead guitarist Larry Tarnowski, and also features the return of former studio drummer Mark Prator, who wasn't part of the band during re-recording sessions for Days of Purgatory. The last three songs make up the "Something Wicked" trilogy.

I always thought of this album as Iron Maiden meets a Pantera ballad.

I like the "metal" songs but 4 ballads is way too much, maybe 2 max per album is the best mix!

I fucking love the opener and the trilogy, but damn: this album was so dissapointing at the time... and still not liking it very much! Too much Kiss-like shoot-a-longs chorus' and 2 ballads attempt to reach the level of "I Died For You", but failing to do so!
