They're a real blessing. After so many post-punk revivals, it was not sure that we would ever, ever here again one unique group like this

Elias vocals are so rowland s. howard in some songs. PITFOL is one of the fucking highlights of the year. it's a 10/10 album.

Some good songs on the new album, lots of not so good ones. Looks like I'm losing Iceage, just like I lost The Men.

new album sounds like Jonathan Richman singing Replacements songs. that's not a bad thing.

I think pitchfork dropped the ball on this one, its definitely 8.3 BNM material. however, I could see an 8.4 BNM being reasonable, 8.42 BNM actually if they used the more accurate hundredths. thousandths would be optimal of course, but lets not kid ourselves here; hoping pitchfork starts using thousandths would be like, oh I dont know, chasing the clouds! am I right fellow music connoisseurs? haha, oh of course I am.

8.5, close! BNM was to be expected though. I think Fantano was a little more on point with his review, though.
