Biography

I-Doser Labs is the leading producer of Binaural Brainwave CDs, MP3s, and computer-based Binaural Brainwave Doses. Using proven, scientific, and safe methods of synchronizing your brainwaves; a simulated state can be achieved through the use of our advanced audio CDs, MP3s, or the I-Doser Player Application for Personal Computers. Our Binaural process has been refined with years of research and development. With thousands of satisfied users, the I-Doser Labs CDs, MP3s, and Computer-Based Applications continue to lead the industry as the only safe and effective method to achieve a simulated mood or experience.

Brainwave synchronization (entrainment) may be achieved when audio signals are introduced to the brain causing a response directly related to the frequency of the signal introduced, called binaural beats. Two tones close in frequency generate a beat frequency at the difference of the frequencies, which is generally subsonic. For example, a 500 Hz tone and 510 Hz tone will produce a subsonic 10 Hz tone, roughly in the middle of the alpha range. The resulting subsonic tone may affect the state of mind of the subject. The “carrier frequency” (i.e. the 500 Hz in the example above), is also said by some to affect the quality of the transformative experience.

The problem a lot of people have is they just press play and expect to be taken away. They've never meditated in their life and don't mentally prepare themselves. Eliminate your surroundings, get good headphones and clear your mind. I'm curious as to what certain doses would be like in a sensory deprivation tank. Anyone try it yet?

I tried the Shooter dose from their Game Enhancers, it did make me feel much more focused.. however wore off after 2hrs or so. I find Brain+ to work good as well for playing a game. But, for 16.99 I believe it is over priced

some work, others don't... the problem with binaural beats as opposed to isotronic beats is that the brain has to be used to it for it to work... it's not just a placebo effect, it relates on your brain nerves connections structures of the moment and how much is it receptive...

Binaural beats in theory should work, but it really hasn't been studied enough within psychoacoustics. The circumstances would have to be incredibly precise and a few I-Doser certified mp3s are incapable of providing that, in other words, placebo. [3]
