I Have Eaten the City is: Brandon Valdivia (drums, percussions), Colin Fisher (guitar, saxophone, pedals, bouzouki, vocals, auxillary percussion) and Nick Storring (computer, cello, dictaphone, Casio SK-1, vocals, auxillary percussion, small flutes, bird calls). They play a varied, improvised mixture of musique concrète, free-jazz, abstract electronic music, noise, experimental rock, etcetera. Their name comes from the poem 'Manhattan' by H.R. Hays.

Members of I Have Eaten the City have been featured in numerous other projects, including Sing That Yell That Spell, Chronic D, the Costantines, Picastro, Piège. All the members of the band are also members of the Association of Improvising Musicians of Toronto.
