I Am Above On The Left is an experimental rock quartet established in Moscow, Russia in Autumn 2004, and soon became one of the most welcomed experimental rock-act of a new local music scene.
The band plays loud and noisy, mostly instrumental music, blending influences of art-jazz-nova-hardcore, pop-noise, math-rock, and avant-garde. The young musicians say that their efforts are devoted to “rethinking themselves at every single moment of time”. Eternal Life, Cuaseless Scare and Panic, Thirst for Weapon (to defend themselves against the surrounding zombi-world) are among the principle themes of their music.

The band members also are known by their lavish side-activity: Taroutz runs currently two experimental solo projects - SYMM.FACE and Wogulow; Galkin - experimental duo Kruzr Ken and solo project Weeping Camel; Galkin and Eremeev also are members of explosive indie / rock band called FOOJITSU; together with Ledovski, Galkin and Eremeev comprise post-hardcore trio uSSSy and Ledovsky, who seems to be most wanted drummer of Moscow indie-scene, works with Lumeny, Silence Kit, and Dream Mechanics to name just a few.
