Brooklyn, NY band, I’m turning into, was conceived by childhood friends, Edd Chittenden, Jhon Grewell and Steve Tarkington in Norfolk, VA in 2004. They play with an indie rock/pop/lofi, garage, post-punk group of genres. The music transitions from a garagy punk sock hop, to a Pixies flavored rock or Sonic Youth inspired experimental guitar rock. Or it’s something else. The group shares each of the instruments and song-writing duties. All three hail originally from Silver Spring, MD.
