The band Hypnotix was established by a married couple Milada and Michal Ditrich in Prague, Czech republic in 1998. They worked with Bourama Badji from Senegal with whom they made their most interesting album Witness of Our Time (1999).
In 2003 they released album Bagua which was made with a Bengal singer Mohsin Mortaba. They also worked with MC Stricly Orange (czech) and from 2005 with trumpeter, percussionist and singer Ego. L. Din.

There is also a hungarian band called Hypnotix. They released three albums between 1997 and 2007. Members are László Szanyi and. László Gajda “Amadeus”. They playing spaced themed electronic music very similar to Jean Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream and Vangelis.
