Hydrus are Amsterdam (NL) sonologists Herman Wilken and Almer Lücke. Their electronic music is a mix between ambient, techno and IDM. In 2004 they contributed the ep “Chime” to Narrominded Split LP #2 ,with compatriot Kettel taking care of the flipside. Their 2006 ep ‘Postcards’ is free for download from Narrominded. The first full-length album “Interleaves” appeared in 2008.
There is also a space ambient band called Hydrus from Italy.They released an album called Midnight In Space in 1978.
