Human Remains formed in Hazlet, New Jersey in 1989. Their style shifted from death metal early in their career to more of a grind/noisecore sound on later releases. The band split up in 1996. Former members of Human Remains have gone on to play in Deadguy, Municipal Waste, East West Blast Test, Burnt By The Sun and Discordance Axis.
