Hrdinové nové fronty (HNF, Heroes of the New Front), was a legendary Czech punk band founded in Jihlava in 1985 by brothers Petr and Pavel Štěpán and Leoš Kostelecký. HNF can be classified as an underground band standing in stark opposition against the Communist establishment in former Czechoslovakia. The band had been constantly persecuted and all their demos had been released unofficially. The band disintegrated at the end of 1988, whole year before Czechoslovakia was liberated from (fucking) Communist misery. Petr and Pavel Štěpán than founded a new band - XIII. Století (13th Century).
