Hopes Were High was a project formed in Linköping, Sweden in 2007 by keyboardist Anton Nordenfur. The project released a few demos and a full-length album, venturing through classical music, heavy metal, psychedelic rock and acoustic.
After the project was split in 2009, Nordenfur formed the atmospheric metal project Quispiam.
