I was too quite pleasantly surprised that this album feels less than a "let's make two new songs and fill the rest with old ones" album and more like a return to the strings and piano of the earlier albums. Yes, some songs stand out as absolutely fantastic, especially in the second half, and the new singer's voice finally sounds right to me... I wonder how well would the current style mix with synthesizers and pop sound of the early albums.

Most of the album sounds like a cover band that attempts to recreate the originals note by note but I have to admit was pleasantly surprised with some of the versions (especially Mad About You, Renaissance Affair, Sometimes).
