I don't know if this fits in the "psychedelic rock" genre, it's sound is so specific and almost retro-like, there's another album out there which has the same sort of sound with this album, it's called "Bad Dream Hotline" by Foe. But that one is considered "post-grunge".

This album is masterpiece. Great farewell of Geike Arnaert. I can say, that i think, that they don't record more hooverphonic longplay from the first two LP's. In my opinion they do really great trip-hop, and hooverphonic style music on this cd. I think Hooverphonic can't record anything from now, without Geike, and Noemie is'nt so bad, but for now he have preety much to learn about being hoover,

Yeah, this album is really unbelievable! I'm absolutely new to the "Hooverphonic scene" :) and this is the first album I've heard but anyway... It's beautiful... The song "Stranger" is the perfect candidate for the "WOW" effect ;). You know... you are listening to some music and there's a moment when you are totally surprised by the brilliance of the musicians... and that's it! You just say........ WOW! :). Btw, my own experience... or someone elses, ehh ;)... try to listen to this album after smoking of some "magical herb", aeehhhmmm. THAT ABSOLUTELY KICK ASS!!! :D

The whole album is pretty good. And I agree for the expression HighWay17 "Bohemian Laughter" is definitely the best.
