A holon (Greek: holos, “whole”) is something that is simultaneously a whole and a part. A holon is a system (or phenomenon) that is a whole in itself as well as a part of a larger system. Every system can be considered a holon, from a subatomic particle to the universe as a whole. Viewed from the perspective of larger things, the holon is a part. Viewed as an entity in its own right, it is a whole that has parts.
And at its own level, it has some “reality” of its own. From this viewpoint, everything is a holon. So a holon isn’t a special thing, per se, but a thing (any thing) seen from a holistic perspective. A human being can be divided into cells, and into facets of your personality, and into various organic processes, likewise, you are part of a community, and part of the gravitational mass we call Earth.
I AM A…. Producer/Composer/Musician/Poet/Catalyst/Total Studio Addict….I am Me. I create music with the belief that sound is a carrier wave of consciousness, and that it is the intent or the purpose behind the sound that matters. Sound healing is the root of all my creations. I use different techniques to manipulate tones that heal the body through vibration.
Music is a dynamic multi-layered matrix of constantly shifting tonal relationships unfolding within time, through which we may experience intensified emotions and an alternation of our state of consciousness. Because of its dynamic quality, our primary attraction to music is both physical and emotional.
