There's a kind of symbolism in a way that makes this video unmistakably about Kurt Cobain... One of the more obvious ones is the little boy - he may symbolize Kurt himself, and the way she could have wished (still wishes) she could have 'protected' him and comforted him in his time of need...and at the end of the video, this may symbolize her way of 'moving on' and letting go of a lot of her misplaced guilt over not being there to prevent his suicide...(if you haven't given in to any 'conspiracy theories', that is...) ALSO...the line "...someday you will ache like I ache..." ...she sings it softly at first and then gets more emotional at the end...this might be a response to not only HER critics but anyone who may have had 'speculations' about the true nature of their relationship, in a way saying: ...'say what you want, I'm goin' thru mine, someday, you'll get yours...' ...I'm paraphrasing, of course :P - but it's what I imagine she'd say...if not more, lol! ...Overall: AWESOME!
