“Demo 1” is the first ever recording and release for bass drone doom sludge low rockers Highfather. It features the first 3 songs of this experimental group. It was recorded on March 25th 2012 in NH. This recording was blessed/mastered on March 30th 2012 by Jeff Oly Olson from the bands Retro Grave and original doom masters Trouble. With members Wayne Werewolf-vocals, Eric Allen Leclair-bass, Michael Leonard Maiewski-drums. Michael Leonard Maiewski is known for being in the bands Stasis, Exacerbate, Seahorse Battlefield, The Lotus Petals, Darktower, Necrolepsy, Pair of Dice, the Potion, Green Wizard, Plague, Jonathan Menderhaus, Attorney at Law and his funeral doom solo outing Misery. Michael Leonard Maiewski also plays drums for the bands Devil Dinosaur and Highfather, and bass/lap-steel/vocals/baritone/organ/additional drums/noise for the bands Bleak Silence and played strings and for Retro Grave, whilst it was a duet, with original Trouble drummer Jeff Oly Olson. And started his own label Succulent Records.
