Mookid represents the Lithuanian techno scene. His deep, driving and melodic minimal tracks, influenced by styles ranging from psy trance to deep house, rank among the best examples of this scene’s vitality.
Exos is the alter ego of Arviður Snorrason who was born and raised in the infamous 101 district of downtovn Reykjavik, capital of Iceland. As a youngster he played the drums and absorbed influences from all the worlds music. But having heard electronic dance music there was no turning back.
Benjamin Fay grew up in the Swiss town of Olten, where he received an education in itself from listening to the Freejazz records that his father owned. Aged 19, he decided to study the double bass at the College of Music in Berne. In 1999 he met Niels Jensen aka Dialogue, who introduced him to a large variety of electronic music.
Digitalverein is one of three musicprojects by Joerg Schuster. Originally it was intended to be a pure Web project, but this changed in the moment when Source Records published an album by him. The album called „Offene Schleifen“ included works he composed as Digitalverein but was released as under his Sensual Physics project. It received highly acclaimed critics by the worldwide press.
Markus Dolic a.k.a. Nulleins (born in 1980) discovered his interest in electronic music during the Techno/Rave boom in the early nineties (without ever really being a part of that scene, though). After some rather unsatisfying tracker experiments in 94-96, "Real" gear had to be bought and was used quite frequently.
