Joni's music has always been open ended and Herbie hit it out of the park with his work on this tribute. An album worth listening to cover to cover! The truth IS in this music!

i have followed Herbie since god knows when...and he is one of the few artists that I can truly say is an exception to his profession.. On this album it features Tina Turner (Edith And The Kingpin). And I have to say I aint never been a great fan of TT but man with a heavy dose of HH she was bearable.. Sorry TT fans!!

Congratulations, Mr. Hancock, on your much deserved Grammy award. Last night was a great night for jazz, thanks to you. My 15 year old daughter was so turned on by the Grammy performance, she spent the rest of the evening googling Herbie Hancock. Thank you for turning on kids to high quality music.
