I took music in school, played mainly the trumpet, could play this but no where near the talent of Herb.

I love this version so much more than the original which rarely occurs. I grew up listening to Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass since my parents were huge fans of jazz and old crooners like Sinatra etc~

Herb Albert and Dave Brubeck were my first experiences with jazz as a child and I love them and their music. A must have with me in my eternal sleep. Yes I want my music with me when I die! Just throw those cd's in the coffin with me please. : )

This version is beyond discription, I remember this being a toe tapper(original), but this version is a head swayer.

This track is from Herb Alpert's "Midnight Sun" album, one of the single greatest jazz albums ever. Herb Alpert + orchestrations, basically, and from start to finish the album is remarkable.

One of our first albums at the house. 'grew up listening to the Tijuana Brass and Baja Marimba Band, et al. I'd say I'm more diverse musically than my age group during the days of peace and love.
