Hellen Bisker was a short lived indie rock band from Maringa - Pr - Brazil whose claim to fame was to support Make Up and later Superchunk.
The band formed by Bulla (bass guitar), Henrique (guitar and vocals - The Tamborines), Rodrigo Carvalho (guitar and vocals - The Soundscapes) and Raphael Carvalho (Drums - The Soundscapes) was heavily influenced by Britsh shoegaze bands such as Ride and My Bloody Valentine and American lo-fi displayed by bands like Guided by Voices, Pavement and Sonic Youth.
They only released one tape - Chemical Looking Girl ( 1997) and disbanded short after the recording sessions for Waterloo (1998).
