Helios is amazing. Underrated beyond belief. 'The Last Laugh' is his best album, I reckon.

Helios Creed, the former guitarist of Chrome is the real "Cyberpunk" combines the nihilistic violence of punk with the resources of high technology and its environmental prowess in a universe populated by aliens, androids, and assorted monsters. Hallucinations violent, perverse ceremonies, dances metronome, searing distortion, vocals horror, raped tapes, abrasive harmonies and nervine, mantras cadaverous hell cadences. The acid is a nightmare really started. -.-.-.-. om hari om .....

@iamholgerczukay: Yes, yes I care. That 'Helios Meat' thing has been bothering me for almost 20 years. I often used to think my copy was some crappy bootleg. Thanx for sharing that info... Lactating Purple & Kiss To The Brain are my favs (I own six)

As far as I know, there isn't an instrumental Helios Creed album, and spaciest album would probably be... all of them. In different ways to some extent, to be cliche, I like the early stuff best... more spacey punk. The 90s got a little heavier/more industrial sounding, but it was Cosmic Assault that got me hooked. You could always do chronological, that's usually the best approach.

In case anyone cares, the answer to my question I asked a while back: "It was a record company fuck up. The album name is Kiss To The Brain and they credited us as Helios Meat. We thought it was funny so we left it like that. Helios Meat. On the cover it actually says Helios Creed, but on the side, it says Helios Meat. Then some radio stations put labels on it and called it Helios Meat and it got filed that way. It’s pretty funny."

Anyone know the back story as to why Kiss To The Brain's spine (of the CD at least) is labeled Helios Meat? Any back story? Or just pointless screwing with me? Hooray for outer space.
