Biography

Heidi Lowy began her studies at the Juilliard School where she was a student of Leland Thompson. She graduated from the Oberlin Conservatory with a Bachelor of Music as a student of John Perry and received a Masters of Music and Distinguished Performer’s Certificate while a student of Cecile Genhart at the Eastman School of Music. She attended L’ecole d’Arts Americaines in Fontainebleau, France, where she was a student of Nadia Boulanger and played Mozart and Ravel in the Master Class of Robert Casadesus. She was awarded the Wuslin Fellowship for chamber music at Tanglewood Music Festival. There followed her study with Leon Fleisher.
